Surabaya (2/9) – The 4th of September is celebrated as National Customer Day. Even in the middle of a pandemic, it does not dampen the enthusiasm of TPS to pamper its customers in this special moment. The targeted customers this time are truck drivers who are doing activities in the TPS area and vessel crews whose vessel is berthed at TPS wharf.


Souvenirs consisting T-Shirts and hats with GRIT label in accordance with the theme of TPS anniversary this year, i.e. "Leading with the GRIT" and e-money with the 75th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia edition were distributed to several truck drivers who today (4/9) have activities at TPS. The truck drivers were very enthusiastic receiving the souvenirs. Most of them just found out that today is a customer day and Handin Waluyo, one of the truck drivers at the export gate, asked about the purpose of distributing T-Shirts and e-money.TPS employee who distributed the souvenir explained that today is National Customer Day. "I just found out that there is a customer day, thank you TPS and good luck," Fandin added in an innocent tone.


Not only for customers who have activities at TPS, a bundle of souvenirs were also distributed to vessel crews whose vessel is having activities at TPS. Several Goody Bags consisting tumblers, T-Shirts, hats, agendas, umbrellas, and exclusive set of luggage tags, card holders and passport holders were presented simbolically to the vessel captain.


The vessel captain and crews really appreciated the presence of the TPS team who deliberately came on board to present the souvenirs at the commemoration of this National Customer Day


"Thank you TPS for the good cooperation so far and hopefully we can strive together to achieve better performance and result amidst the pandemic," said Captain Luo Shengjie, MV Captain. Wan Hai 313.


Erika A. Palupi said that like previous years, TPS always takes the opportunity of this special moment as a customer visit day. However, due to the pandemic, TPS is not able to conduct the activities like the previous year. Therefore, this time TPS sent the gratitudes to customers who are currently having their activities at TPS only.
